Pilates Instructor Training
Become a Pilates Instructor, working with individuals or groups, as an Allied Health Professional who is equipped with the required skills, knowledge and experience to successfully work as a Pilates movement educator. Queen St Pilates Studio is extremely excited to be offering Nationally Accredited Pilates teacher training though Tensegrity Training - RTO Code 60182 starting in February 2018.

52728WA Certificate IV in Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology
This Course covers the essential skills and knowledge for executing and instructing Pilates exercises and programs in a safe, effective and contemporary manner applying sound knowledge of the philosophical and mechanical Pilates principles, fundamental anatomy, physiology and biomechanics, neuromuscular fundamentals, structural kinesiology, as well as specific teaching methodology.
On completion of the Certificate IV, you will be able to demonstrate a range of well-developed skills applicable in health and fitness settings. Work at this level may be undertaken independently or under guidance and/or supervision.
The next Certificate IV Pilates course commences on Monday 27th August 2018. and Teaching Methodology
Our Diploma course will equip you with the skills and experience to successfully enter the workforce as a Pilates Instructor who is capable of making adaptions to meet special needs that arise in the health industry, including pregnancy, rehabilitation and movement therapy.
The 10596NAT Diploma of Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology will provide you with exercise prescription and teaching techniques, movement analysis and postural assessment skills, as well as a solid understanding of anatomy and the human body. The Tensegrity Training Integrated Diploma of Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology includes a series of workshops and access to online essential knowledge to learn in detail the Pilates repertoire as well as modifications, progressions, teaching skills, cueing, program development and safety for both Matwork and Equipment.
